January, 2001 iCE Pack

1. The rumors that farmy was caught in Chelsea Clinton's dorm room wearing a feather boa, waist-high fishing boots and a beret are false and we'd like to deny them right up front. He was in fact wearing a German spiked war helmet and not a beret. Thank-you.

2. We'd like to thank YOU for checking out our pack this month. Next month will bring some big changes to the web site, so keep your eyes peeled!

2a. Well don't literally "keep your eyes peeled". It's not like they're an orange or anything.

2b. It's just a manner of speech, you see. Don't hurt yourself.

3. Boy, there really isn't much news this month, is there? Hrmm... let's see. Oh! Sprite had a housefire that was started by a candle! The candle was given to her by the loan agent as a house warming gift. Insert cruel joke here. Fine, laugh. Poor Sprite.

4. iCE really does kick ass. Just look at all this art this month. And then check out tiles.ice.org some more, because it kicks ass too. And then tell slothy how much he kicks ass, because he is just the coolest. MD is pretty cool, too, but nowhere near the level of slothy.

5. See you guys next month. :) We'll keep making the art, you keep shaking your head and saying things like, "These people have definitely gone batty."

I like it jon. Hey, that member's iceglobe, do you want me to whip up a flash version? It'd snap to fullscreen, and you can re-route to a non-flash version automatically if someone doesn't have flash. (or you can force them to download that shit like the bitches they are.

You can also make it really easy to update and export the fla for new/updated member locations.

Hrmm... well the problem is that I really like to generate things dynamically. Because otherwise, things don't get updated if you have to do it manually. Unless we can use that php flash generator I heard about (but never looked into), I don't think we'll use a flash version. Unless you can make the flash read from a text file or something?
