same consistent brightness difference on these tiles. This tile is much darker in photoshop. *sighs* I just recently recalibrated photoshop and my monitor, I guess I'll check up on it again....
Sorry guys!
This tile is from For Newbies III: The Resurrection.

It's okay whirl, you'll get it right soon.
Re: hrmph
It doesn't matter how your monitor is calibrated as long as you use the Eyedropper tool to get the exact color, now does it? =) Use the Eyedropper and never adjust brightness / contrast afterwards. Best way to get a perfect match every time. Keep em' coming. =)

Re: Re: hrmph
it's hard to get a perfect match when photoshop reads the colors of jpgs and pngs differently :>
We were continued this discussion on other tiles of mine: I tried out png against the jpg version (both obtained on the tiles.ice.org site) and there is a definite color difference: exactly the difference you see in my tile compared to another matching tile.
I just tried a tile completely in png. We'll see how it comes out, I guess. :>

I actually had a quality problem.. and colour.. I found if i saved the images as BMP instead of PNG or JPG (you can from IE), it translates it perfectly..
