-3? But this time he actually put some
effort in blending - look at that red
wire - isn't is a sheer masterpiece?
Go, go, Eddie! Show'em what you can -
blend a couple more edge pixels in the
next tile and let'em die with envy! ;-)))
This tile is from For Newbies III: The Resurrection.

C'mon, give the guy some cheers!
LOL
SO... it seems he -did- blend that red wire... but what about the red cloudy areas? And he is STILL trying to just make his one little tile be the masterpiece of the quilt instead of just going with the flow of the entire thing...
Re: LOL
Shhh! Don't tell it to him...
Re: Re: LOL
At least if he keeps this up he'll never get to work on any other quilts to mess them up as well.
Re: Re: Re: LOL
Thank God that there was at least that little red wire to grasp and aside from the gray smudge, there was nothing else to work with. With the same tile that I selected, the same dinky red thread (wire) and the gray smudge, what would've you hotshots done? Could it be that certain contributors are allowed to view the adjacent tiles before undertaking their own? Yes, that must be the case...
Funny, what I thought was the sweat of a hot August evening must have been the dampness of the milk of human kindness exhuded by you, my loyal supporters.

Re: Re: Re: Re: LOL
Oh but there can be many things joined to that 'gray smudge and dinky red wire'. That is the point to figure out what that could be, and draw something that seamlessly joins and becomes part of that 15 pixel wide strip. Perhaps that gray smudge is a mountain side, and the red thread leads into a needle...
And I'm sure there is no reason for conspiracy theories here...

Re: Re: Re: Re: LOL
That grey bit looks like the surface of an alien planet to me... It look slike some sort of rough terrain anyway. IT was just begging for a realist style tile to go next to it anyway. Since you don't do that style of tile, you could have cancelled it and looked for one with more abstract edges.
Re: LOL
In a nutshell, I must have been drunk again that night...Perhaps if you all speak with the owners here, you may be able to secure me the opportunity to
redo the tile(s)that I dumped here on this quilt when I had all of that wind in my sails and thought that it was a piecework sort of thing. Next to letting my mother-in-law move in with us, why, I believe that the tile in question has got to be my other greatest mistake. Ed

Re: Re: LOL
I've finally made my decision. It's this tile that will be on the cover of my upcoming autobiography, "Piss and Vinegar days"...
Where?
HEY! Where in hell does one go to hide from a tile out here on the internet?
