Not bad,
the splicing/transition on the wires is a bit rough though
Re: Not bad,
Thanks for commenting, critique is very helpful (well, to me at least).I very much agree about the transition. I wasn't happy with it. I found out why I shouldn't do that on a computer without a tablet, a mouse seems to be a bit unwieldly for me to draw with right now. Of course, with more practice... I'm sure it all would get better. And I know I need lots of practice! That's what I love about attempting these tiles though (good practice).
Hopefully, my creative vision of connecting the tiles will also improve. There is such good inspiration in viewing other peoples work as well.

if it helps,
for some edges i zoom in really close to the edge to where the pixels are really big and fat. this makes it easier for me to mess with a transition.
but,
i do like that there's a lot going on in your tile.
I know what you mean
I recently bought a graphire2 and I really like it. It makes freehand drawing so much more natural than mousing. Of course, it too required a little bit of getting used to, doesn't have the same grab as drawing on paper... I totally agree with you, the content on this site just blows me away! I wish I had more free time to spend on artwork. Instead, I'm stuck writing halfassed psychology essays. Which I should be doing right now, come to think of it...
