Good stuff,
I like how you blended the right diagonal tile through yours. How do you do your wires? They're really smooth lookin'.
Wires
Well, it's just a line painted in photoshop with some layer effects (outer glow + drop shadow).
If you need a tutorial, I could write a short one.

Wires = Draw a line with the paintbrush tool + blur
Ahh,
I forgot about layer effects. I'll fiddle around with them a little and let you know if I can use a tutorial. Or if you have the time, go ahead and post one. It'll save me time wasted on trial and error when I should be working on my essays instead :P
Re: Ahh,
Groovy, dude
Thanks a bunch! Soon as I get some free time I'm going to try it out. I'm not too good at mechanical stuff so I'm going to see if I can improve a little.
Straight lines
Try not to draw a straight horiztonal or vertical lines with different colors on either side of it across your tiles. When you do that, it looks like someone made a tile offset a little without blending and edge, even though you did blend your edges. If you look at the quilt where you did that (2x), there is a large line across it where your neighbors continued the pattern. It interrupts the flow of the artwork. Hope that makes sense to you.
Re: Straight lines
Granted, but don't the wires that cross it help to moderate/break the effect by allowing a path for the eye to follow?
