Wow
This is an excellent first tile. I can't tell without seeing the tile below, but it looks like you blended from your border very well.
cool kile!
and wellcome to tiling!
Spectacular.
See title. Amazing job. I apologize for what I did to the left side (I took that tile); I simply can't draw humans at all... actually, I can't draw anything alive. I have difficulty drawing a straight line without a hammer.
It's interesting to see what the adjacent locations made of the image. I was the only one who got a fair chance to see just what it was that I had to merge to; I fully confess that I seroiusly blew it. (I'm a CS major, not an art major.)
Anyway, great job!

Hair!
Her hair is a great use for that explosion! I can't wait to see all the pieces together.
Super
We want more, we want more : )
Great tile :)
...its just a shame that everybody adjacent didn't do much with the interesting edges you gave them. :(
Re: Great tile :)
I have to minorly disagree with your statement that everyone didn't do much with the borders of this tile. I think the tiler to the right did an excellent job with what she got. It was clearly difficult for her to tell that she was working with an arm just from the information in the border that she got. However, she could have continued the stars just a little into her tile. On the other hand, I think we've had enough stars in this quilt.
Re: Re: Great tile :)
True, the tile to the right is pretty good, its more the other two that I was disappointed in. They just fade the edge out in the first couple of pixels and do their own thing. :(
Re: Re: Re: Great tile :)
In my defense, I had no clue what that thing was from the border I received. :P
