Remember, in the night, the moon is white. ;)
It is looking dark, because you didnt used the complete value-range. But the borders are good, no panic. Perhaps you edit it and put some highlights in, but it is just good as it is .. you can wait until you see the bordertiles and decide it then.

It shows you've never seen a desert night after a sandstorm ^_^
The moon can be yellow or even orange from all the sand that's in the air.
This has been yet another worthless piece of information.

Of course there exceptions. Even just if the moon is near the horizon it will appear in orange colors. But the main-information of this sentence concern the relation of values in a picture. And in the night everything seems dark compared with the moon(except other lightsources, high reflecting areas like water or blank metal or something).
And well, if you're looking through green-glasses, it will of course appear green, and if you put enough sand between you and the moon, it will disappear. ;)
