No, it's nice.
I wouldn't discount the "quickie" nature of it, were I you. I really like the quality of the substance coming off the "sun". It has a nice painterly feel to it.
Would have been nice to see the reddish-purple nebula-stuff emphasized in the tile more, though, I think ... it matches up well with the stuff bubbling and burning under the sun.

hey, I wish this were a poster, I'd put it up in my cubicle. Nicely done! You did a great job on the blending and on your composition. Not to mention the shading, as the planets are perfectly shaded. You even made sure the planet had an atmosphere! Good detail work.
