well, I have two quick tips...
1. the hands outline is too sharp. If you want to use that kind of style, I recommend using it on the face too, otherwise, it kinda looks like two different images --- less consistent...
2. Centering your image in the middle of the tile is pretty boring. That makes less for the others to blend and nullifies the chances for all these really cool surrealistic stuff that happens.
oh and another thing... he hair looks pretty solid. perhaps doing some hilights on it would make it feel more... uhm... cool .. =)
anyway, it's quite good for a newbie tile, hope to see more!!!

Oops I did plan on changing the orientation of the head but , ah , er , I firgit =/
