Good 4 way tile?
Gimmie some constructive criticism. I'm really considering getting a drawing pad one of these days. Unfortunetly, they're too expensive for my blood.
uh
Why is my tile getting such a low ranking? Its worth at least a 2
Ah um =]
Hehe , well if you usualy draw like this , read on ... If you are "joking around" then , damn u ! hehe =x
First of all Id like to accredit your efforts , I think its great to at least give it a go ... but if you ask , well , here is a few points you might wanna , dig into =]
First of all , I suggest you get a minimal overview in human proportions , that would include body and head shapes concerning the human body ...
I suggest you check this site out ! : http://www.fineart.sk/
That site has great ref. pics in anatomy , I suggest you study them plenty =] !
Next up : Add some uh .. perspective and life into your drawing. =] :
Shadows , highlights , those will help to make your drawing look more alive. For exemple , in a human face , the skin in the eye sockets is darker then the cheek's , for the simple reason that its covered from the light source (considering you have a normal overhead lightning , like a normal room lightning).
Once again you should refer to anatomy pictures to spot the correct highlight and shadows areas ...
Next , make sure you dont just splat the same old color on something. Add different tones (refer to highligh and shadows , lightsource color and reflection for the right color tones).
Erm , and on a sidenote I would like to ask you a few things like :
- Whats your experience in drawing and art in general ?
- Whats your age ?
- Do you draw often ?
Also , on fineart (the site I linked a few lines above) , I suggest you consult and read a few loomis books , they will help you start up !
And ... Sorry if theres typos , Im tired and Ive still got way too much work on my hands for tonight , hehe @_@

Re: Ah um =]
It isn't supposed to be human. It is supposed to be a demonic beast of the 11th century. So, Naturally, it should not contain human qualities as mentioned above.
Re: Re: Ah um =]
Just coincidental that it looks like a bad human figure. Note all the blood, and the evil eyes of death. Plus, its body is much to small for the head, it would fall over. This I found added an other element to its evilness.
ahh yes I see ;)
Well , you are the one person who can actualy see if theres something wrong with it , I only give my oppinion ;)
But my I point out that even in horror or demonic figures you can notice standard human face anatomy (ex: cheekbones , eye sockets , so on) =]
anyway , good work none the less ;)

anyway , good work none the less , just trying to give constructive critism ;)
