Hi people. No doubt no one will read this, so I won't say much more than a short paragraph or something.
I've been dabbling (from hobby to professional) in computer are since the early 80s (using Doodle on a Commodore 64 initially - YOU try and draw using a joystick!). I later moved to the Amiga and was a dpaint junkie.
PCdom came along and with that came Photoshop and 3ds Max..
Only just found this site yesterday and it's a great way to keep the art skillz busy and the mind active.
I only wish atleast one of the 6 tiles I have submitted will get 4 adjoining tiles so they'll show their face!

Err Hi..
Re: Err Hi..
You made 6 tiles in one day!? I need to check that out. Either you had absolutely nothing to do all day yesterday, or you don't take enough time on your tiles.
Re: Re: Err Hi..
I just peeked at few of your tiles and they are looking really good! Maybe 2 painstakingly drawn amazing tiles a day would be better than 6 good ones though. I would love to see what you came up with if you really took your time on a few.
Re: Re: Re: Err Hi..
Hey no one was supposed to read my intro.. :) heh
I did have little to do on the day, and was pretty much in the mood to draw, so used this as an excuse to see what I could come up with.
I just wish there were more people active on this quilt so I can get some more variation.. Creating some tiles next to a certain person who doesn't like to blend tiles was a challenge.. and that golf grass.. lol.. that was interesting..
I think in most cases, spending more time on what I have done already wouldn't have produced much of a difference in what you see.. I was confident enough to produce what I thought was a decent tile, so I thought I would do a few to get in the swing before sitting down and really concentrating on making something nice..
Then I hope to make something that stands out and shows my abilities off. :)
BTW, thanks for the replies, and pleased to meet you (well, if you can call this "meeting")..
