there was no content to blend with. you had nothing to conform to at all, so this could've been a really cool tile. you could've done anything u wanted, but a checkerboard doesn't add anything amazing to the quilt. andthere's nothing u can do if you have to blend with a checkerboard really. keep tiling. good try
