I just thought I should write a line about my little tile here. It's Bilbo, with the ring on, so he's invisible. =)

... same here. I had no idea what the shiny thing was. Now I know better. :) Great idea, Sam! :)

It's ok. I never meant it to be too obvious. ;)

'Oops!'
Hmmm. I feel stupid. This tile must be a tribute to one of my fellow tilers. One of the female ones that I commented on one of her tiles regarding the fact that she spent so little time on her tiles. And the very same day (night, actually... Whatever..) I did this tile in a couple of minutes... Stared at it for like... 20 minutes before I decided to upload it as it was, and when I looked at the time, I realized that I had used like 1 minute -less- that she had spent on the tile I commented on. Talk about setting a bad example. So... Here goes... Scarlett: Forgive me. ;)

Re: 'Oops!'
Well, everyone works at different speeds. The time is also variable depending on the complexity and number of borders. I have done tiles in 20 minutes that looked fine, and I have taken 8 hours on others. Sometimes it's just luck. I can usually make a tile much faster on the higher rated quilts because the edges are smoother and more consistant with the feel of the rest of the quilt.
You also could see the entire quilt here, so that probably saved you time time also.
