good tile
Re: good tile
Thanks.. But this is still one of my least favorite tiles so far.
I confess that my goal was only to blend on this one. Too bad I couldn't come up with any actual picture - my initial reaction upon looking at the tile next morning was "WTF is that?" Making tiles half-asleep at 2 in the morning isn't always good. :)
The top edge was hard, and if you look at the two tiles more closely you'll see why..

Re: Re: good tile
Well, I don't think there's anything wrong with making a tile that simply blends. I think the quilt gets to busy if everyone just throws a picture in there; it looks too, blocky and sectioned. So I still think you did well blending, it works real well with the tiles around it. Even with Eddie's tile above; that would be hard to blend...it's got such a strange blur. almost looks like it's printed on fabric, so yeah, tough to duplicate... especially at 2am, but when you gotta tile, you gotta tile (hyuk hyuk)
alright, good tile, later.
