So, this is the one...
I watched this tile go from a one vote 4 to a 2 over two votes. Elementary school math has me establishing the average when more than one vote is cast, to the total number of points, divided by the number of votes and determine that a zero and a four would average out to 2. I've done worse work and gladly accepted better scoring than this and even after studying the tile, can't honestly say that my life would have been better for not having done it. I've also done a bunch of work which was just piss ass poor but still received better scoring than this. Let me encourage the fervent and calculated voter to critique the work in perhaps a short commentary so that I, (we) might better understand the error of my ways! I would better understand you if you articulated your feelings because often, an artist can find the emotion, a help in understanding everything from the impact to the subtlety of the image. I'ts nice to let yourself out of the closet once in awhile! It's even more satisfyingly cathartic than, shall we say, clicking off an irresponsible vote and booking out! I am certainly going to strive for a better tile tho and pal, you haven't so much as dented my tilist's armor...
Re: So, this is the one...
I haven't voted on this, but I noticed that of the two ropes and one ribbon you were given, you only continued the ribbon. If I remember correctly, one of the main rules for this quilt is to continue all ropes/ribbons that you encounter. Also, the lettering looks to me more like candy than a rope of some sort... but it looks yummy! :)

Antaydos-
Your commentary is well taken and I see that the failure to carry through with those strings will go against me in some manner. I think that I was in such a hurry to do a tile for this quilt, that I neglected to read the rules, in my haste. Oh well, I 'm not in this for the points so it really doesn't matter about the score. Thanks for pointing that out to me.
