i had a hell of a time blending those diamond looking things, because the one on the left changes colors at the last pixel. i'm definiately not completely happy with how it turned out, but i just got a very frustrating point and did the best i could do at that point.

I tried to duplicate your style as closely as possible in the tile on the right. It turned out kind of interesting, like another guy growing out of his head.
