If you want to be a faceless drone, drawing skulls and other "perfectly blended" Quake-like subject matter, then text is definitely off-limits. For me, however, an important part of art is striving to break out of traditional boundaries. Kudos for trying something different & challenging.

I had the tile right below yours. The text does look a bit odd but it shouldn't hurt too much. The funky cloud things at the bottom were done very well! Good job! I had a tough time getting mine to look right so I just completed your swirls and left them at that. They gray along the right bottom edge was a bit tricky as well considering the funkily colored clouds... but it all came together in the end. Sort of weirdly. You'll see.
