The edge of that moon is really choppy. For circles (and especially spheres) I recommend using the eliptical marque selection tool, and then feathering it 1 or 2 pixels, then fill the select with the desired color.
This gives the circle a nice anti-aliased edge that reads "round" and not "Atari 2600". It'll also give you a perfectly round circle shape (yours uncropped is looking a bit taller than it is wide).
I would have probably turned that red pole into something else instead of just continuing it downward into the next tile.
Keep at it.

Re: Re: Smoothness
Is Photoshop the freeware one? Or is that Paintshop Pro? I always get the two confused. ;)

Next time we get someone without a real paint program, send them over to the Gimp for Win32 page:

Gimp rocks, and it's free. Gimp is all I use anymore, though the interface is a bit different than Photoshop (and hence Photoshop people tend to dislike it). It doesn't compete with the "professional" features that Photoshop has, but it's a perfect replacement for people who just draw and do web type art.
That's the end of my rare Free Software evangelism. If you're happy with your current program, don't switch.
