I'm not sure what's doing it, but it seems like your final version has some issues with making a noticable seam between borders you are given, and your centeral artwork. Both the left and top sides of this tile have a 1 pixel width of darkend pixels. Is this due to JPG compression bleeding into a black border you are working with or something? Have you tried uploading a PNG instead?
