i really like it, don't know exactly what or why.. but fun. i just don't understand why the top and top left are so awkward. a few of the blobs seem to stop a pixel before the edge. otherwise, neato. only reason i'm posting is because i blended your top. hell to blend, hell to blend.
god.. the thing (what the hell is that thing?) is so detailed, awesome.

Definatly 5! The picture is great as always.
But, please, don't provide next time these black and gray squared region (lower left corner) to other tilers. It is pain in the ass to work with it : ))

I think...
... I had a problem saving thins file, it looks like if I did wrong the downsampling... Sorry to both of you for this issue... I use to take care about that, but I suppose I forgot to check if it was ok or not... next time I will take care. Sorry.
I like it!
a 5 from me with no complaints! Nice job!

I am wondering! Somebody who vote 4 or 3 on such tiles... Do they really think that this tile is not good anough to get 5? Or may be they think that they draw better? Or they are just freaks who do it becouse they can not get a 5 for their tiles?
Re: Damien Dark
Hi damien. Thanks, but this tile is a bit unfinished (I got not more time to finish some textures). Also, the composition may be not good enough, I mean, I like it but I know some people may not like it. And also, the "expresiveness"... I suppose some people feel nothing taking a look of it... so I perfectly understand less than 5 votes on this one.
Re: Re: Damien Dark
I am in awe of this tile! It looks like a photograph of... something. Not sure what it is, but it looks like some kind of insect, and I am seriously impressed by how sharply rendered it is.
Re: Re: Re: Damien Dark
Hey thanks kodgetts :) About sharpness, it is just working with supersampling, I mean, to work in a higher resolution and then resize down. It is the easier way to give high detail and sharpness to tiles. Kodgetts, I like your tiles a lot, you should try to use higher resolution also, your tiles are not blurry, but I'm sure that you will love the way the detail could be given in a higher res. And also, I spend a lot of time on my tiles, I think this one was about 2-3 hours. Anyway, Jull (god Jull), my digital painting teacher and always inspiration said this tile is not good enough... So it is not good enough :)
Re: Re: Damien Dark
OK.. May be You really wanted to do something else with this tile, but it does not look unfinished to me. And more, in my post I mean not only this tile. There are a lot of really exelent tiles in quilts, which receive some low votes. And it suks :(
Re: Re: Damien Dark
And more... There is a tile on your top, I think it is from some private quilt. I'd like to see it in a full size (and also some razghul tiles). I hope I will be able see this quilt when it will be finished. Am I right?
Re: Re: Re: Damien Dark
Re: Re: Re: Re: Damien Dark
No, by private, he meant "inaccessible to the majority of tilers/visitors". The top tile in your list is part of a hidden quilt.
I always wondered why quilts can be hidden -- especially since tiles in them obviously aren't.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Damien Dark
try again, you should be able to see that quilt now.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Damien Dark
Now I can. Thanks, Tony!
Re: Damien Dark
i agree Damien. it makes me wonder too... and not just on this tile.
it could be any of the things you mentioned... or even someone who wants to "adjust" the overall score to what they think it should be.
