Let's see
Hmm, I don't know about this tile, either. It was mostly a texture experiment. The worst part is definitely the laser's housing. I think the main thing this lacks is more highlighting and stronger shadows.
really?
i really like the right side of this tile, the textures and beautiful color combinations, especially on the most interesting part, the housing, which i hope gets continued on the neighboring tile.
on a different note... at first glance i thought i saw a baby bottle squirting pee :oD
wow! now there's an idea for a quilt huh?

Re: really?
I like the right side too. I would have liked to see you develop the left a bit more...I voted 3 as I found the left side a little lacking interest.
Re: Re: really?
I'm pretty much the opposite, I like the left side, with the texturing, it looks tiger like... and I like how the laser is cutting through it, I didn't notice that at first, but it's quite cool. The blending with the border is a bit off though.
Re: Re: Re: really?
Blending's always a tough thing to tell from this perspective. I'm pretty sure that LIE's tile had some dark spots on the bottom that I extended into my tile a bit. Not the most gracious save, but it is better than ignoring the dark spots and just using the lighter shades from the rest of the border.
