Was that the name of the robot in Metropolis? Because that's what this robot is. Nice reference.

I started paying tribute to the metropolis robot but the more I worked on the piece the more it looked like Tyra Banks to me. Hence, the tyrobot.
a few thoughts...
I thought I'd leave a few notes with each of my tiles so I can chart my own growth as a tiler over time. This is the first thing that I've ever entirely airbrushed in photoshop, as well as the first time I used my wacom tablet. It was much more difficult than I expected - I'm having trouble controlling the pen. I am now in complete awe of the maintilers here, and think I have a great deal of practice ahead of me before I reach their level, if that ever happens.

Re: a few thoughts...
Using a tablet actually isn't that hard once you become used to it. The biggest thing is learning to look at the screen instead of down at the tablet. If you keep the tablet aligned with the monitor, everything will appear where you want it to. You also might want to try adjusting the settings of the pen pressure in the control panel.
I think your tile looks great by the way, you just need to try not to center your artwork too much.
