Well, the hobbit by the wall is supposed to be Bilbo after getting the ring in the orc caves, since half of The Hobbit is the only book I've read. The guy in the middle would Legolas, which is not likely from the same time period, but neither is the rest of the quilt. He's probably too small, though. I think I focused too much on the details and not enough on the overall look of the tile.

I kind of wonder why the other two tiles were returned. Maybe this spot is cursed...

The lower tile was returned because it wasn't blended well. The second was returned because it was off-topic. Neither resubmitted.
