and the clouds are beautiful, but it's just rather boring...
And you didn't continue the tile to your left (which could have been nice) :)
This tile is from Mainquilters 21: Ancient Temples of the Aztecs, Mayans, and Egyptians Marathon

I love your work
Re: I love your work
thanks!
in my opinion, a quilt needs some "boring" tiles otherwise it would become overloaded. most people try to add something eyecatching to their tiles. Tiles like this one make the quilts overall look better imho.

yup.
excellent job on the clouds. this tile is special because it's just like looking at the clouds and imagining certain things or creatures. i see Bowser from Mario in this one! haha, weird. good work.

Yes, I was looking forward to seeing how the laser ray was going to be integrated in to the next tile over, alas I see it wasn't used at all :( and ironically this tile has the same score as my tile to the left. But they are nice clouds I suppose :p
.
Yeah, well, you're both right.
I think it would be nice, to work on a "one picture"-surreal-quilt where everybody is trying to get an non-patchwork-like quilt with much smoother borders etc..
