I really like the way you drew those cracks in the wall. How did you do them?
The only problem is that you didn't continue the borders you were given, but rather stopped them and started something new...
Too bad.

Re: Cool
jepp you're right >_>°
I was not very happy with that bump-like texture around the borders..(cause i did another tile in this style an that was hard to make seamless ^^) so i try to use the color like stone...like a relief..
Your border was very good, although i think the bluetone is a bit to clear an bright ..well sorry for the lack of seamless
The cracks are not hard to make.
Take a dark tone of the surface, an paint some cracking lines, to adding contras pick a tone that is a bit brighter than surface color and add it in the right direction (where your global light is set) Thats it ..variety in contrast is very powerful
Just try it, hope that helps ^^

Re: Re: Cool
I think this one looks pretty cool. I just moved into an old house that needs TONS of repair, and this kinda reminds me of the walls... Cracks, holes, mis-matched textures. Maybe I should paint some heiroglyphics and skip all the patchwork ;-)
