well I worked on this for a while , but I gotten lazy when was time to render , so er , ya thats about it ...
I worked on a 400% version of this size , if you wanna see it , heres the link :

I liked how it turned out though ..... ..... ..... in 25% size

i think you did a better job than i did with that tile, so i guess there was a reason for the photshop crash =P
... top border was really hard to blend. i think i did a bit better job with the yellow/red stuff but other than that your tile is much better.

Well, i think you did a quite good job execpt a smooth transition.
First point, i recommend to you to "scale" the original picturet not with "bilinear" or "bicubic" but with "nearest neighbor"!(Photoshop-names)
This means you have not to change anything with the original borders but the size. (this looks like a mosaic-effekt) And well, this helps you to see what those borders are - the normal scaling give a false impresssion.
(And well, perhaps it helps, so i loaded up my 500% original file up. (upper border))

But, i like the whole tile, and so i give 5. The upper border was really hard imho.
