How could I have made this work better? I thought the idea was pretty cool.. heh.. I guess I was a bit blurrier than the tile below me, so the blend wasn't as good as it should have been.. any other ideas?
.
Well, just some questions:
Dont you think its hard to see whats going on in this tile?
Do you think the borders are interesting to go on with?
Do you like this blue texture?
Do you think the black spot is good looking?
Has this "monster?" anatomy or something, or do you agree with me its looking like a ugly-green spot?
Do you like your whole tile?

Well skinny i was the first one to checkout this tile a few days ago , had to give it up because I lacked the time , but what I made was an underwater view looking from the sank pirate vessel up to the surface with a small boat blured by water refraction dropping something in water =)
I think you had a good basic idea , it woudl have been great to exploit it another way though =)
for exemple , finish that pirate vessel , but make an underwater evironement , with a sea monster lurking in it =)
it would make for a less abstract tile on a somewhat realistic quilt and give great borders to your fellow tilers !
try squeezing in lots of details if you can ...
my 2 cents =)

Re: Re: hehe
I actually really like it, it reminded me of some creatures in the tool video clip of Scism (those clay bite things :p)
