looking at your tile in the quilt seems like someone messed up in connecting his tile to it, especially to the left, where there is my tile ;P
I like it.
But... you didn't sync up with the tile bellow as well as you could. The red on the left and the black on the right simply get cut-off. in the middle you sync up black on black, that works well.
I understand what you're saying, except I did what I did,
on purpose. The hard edge of the pink works well with the whole. The hard edge I left on the right is exactly what I wanted to do (kind of a woven layers-thing going on). Now, if the next guy picks up on this, it could have a neato effect. If not... well, we'll have to see after the tile is uploaded.

Re: I understand what you're saying, except I did what I did,
I was the tile on the right. It was hard to blend because of the pink, I just didn't know what to do with that. I didn't realize, at the time, that there was an intended effect. I'm still not sure I understand what you were going for. Still, I really like your tile, it's very detailed.. and the colors were well contrasted and blended.
Heh.... I guess we're now talking apples and oranges here.
The pink on the right didn't mean anything, except that it was a color used to offset the pink on the left.
