Its an insect, mainly the head, lying on its back, its eyes pooring into the river. The insect is supposed to look like the kind with long "arms", eats other insects, I'm not sure if i know the English word, "Praying Mantis"?
Too bad the quilt ends on the right side, i thought it would be neat to see how somebody would continiue the body and legs.
