Re: lol
dark line on the left too... you should continue the picture over the border for few pixels so jpg wouldn't mess the borders...
Re: Re: lol
unfortunately i think it happen
when u save(as jpeg)...
when u save(as jpeg)...
Re: Re: Re: lol
i think it's because the compression of the jpg file. there is a hard egde in the border of the tile (with the checker pattern and the image itself) and then the compression ... compresses the image so it blurs the hard edge and thus making the darker line in the edge...
if one would continue the image over the borders then there wouldn't be a hard edge on the border and no dark edge.. i think.

is it cheap?
is it cheap really you think to take a tile diagonally from your own tile?
I do that all the time

Re: is it cheap?
hehe =) yeah it's not that bad if you do that. it's only the corner after all.
Re: Re: is it cheap?
Well, I only said so because I put my blue lizard-chick right in the corner like that, and I felt like I really should have trusted other people to finish it as they pleased. But I think it was worth it to help connect the red stuff together.
As for the edges on the jpg, I'm looking at it really close and I don't see that happening... We'll have to see what it looks like after the adjacent tiles show up.
