the pink pipe seems to have been mangled...
The border isn't visible but shortly after the border it looks like the pipe has been chewed on like the end of a pen.
The shape of the smoke rings is also a little bit lacking.

the mangling of the pipe was intended. i fealt the plastic tube thing was getting old in this quilt, so i mashed it with a hammer several times and then jumped up and down on it until beads of sweat covered my body 8o}
the term "smoke rings" was used loosely as this piece was intended as an abstract. i "saw" smoke rings in it, you may not.

yeah i can see that. i was just interested in making a shiny transparent thingy. so i guess it worked. i think it was "big time" who had the beginning of a plastic bottle at the top of his tile, at the top of the quilt. i was disappointed when that turned out to be the very top edge and the bottle didn't get continued.
