Great tile
Nice tile zogs me old mate
Yep,
cool use of perspective. That's something I have a hard time pulling off so I'm always impressed by others efforts.
The only thing I can suggest here is that the lower blend could have used more work, perhaps you need to check your monitor brightness. It's only a small difference in color but I thought I'd let you know.
Keep up the great work!

Re: Yep,
Nah, you just have your monitor too bright. Black isn't supposed to be grey. ;)
Re: Re: Yep,
Sorry, I meant the lower right, in the grass.
Re: Re: Re: Yep,
I know that's what you meant. It's hard to see on my monitor though. I just think it's your monitor that's too bright. :)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Yep,
heh, fair enough
The Fade
I think that might have come about from me changing the opacity of one of the layers - whilst trying not to make the tile too dark. (it was originally a lot darker).
If it was the change in opacity, then I guess I forgot to touch up the blend. It was spot on at one point.

Re: The Fade
Fantastic. Great depth.
Re: The Fade
as far as the blend goes, it looks great on my monitor. i really like the tile. and... um... i thought the barbed wire and the top of the watchtower resembled staircases in my check out tile. i hope it looks okay once mine is added to yours ... we'll see i guess 8^) [it's weird, i've seen the tile for several days now, but it just hit me today that i did the tile above it... hmmm actually the one to the left as well haha]
Re: Re: The Fade
wow ... that's me on your right too. got you surrounded almost.
Re: Re: Re: The Fade
hehe.. looks like their own hope of escape from there is to dig down to the tile beneath then.. I wonder if they know that. Maybe I should warn them.
