Hey Toby...
My personal critique is to blend your edges better. Along your bottom edge you didn't blend very well at all (it goes from dead black to a much lighter shade of gray, maybe your monitor isn't bright enough). Your filters along the top and left side don't blend very well either. Remember, the goal is that people shouldn't be able to tell where your tile begins when looking at the quilt. Check out Escher and Mass Visualizations for examples of that.
Definitely keep tiling, just chill out on the filters. :)

i spotted [some of] my 'obvious' mistakes as soon as the tile was placed up against someone elses. oh well, i'll learn... if i don't get flamed to death first haha.
